These shapes represent the Tax Record polygons The land area of a Tax Record can be comprised of multiple Tax Parcels. The identifier for Tax Records in the Assessment system is Tax PIN as well as Tax Block and Control Lot. Tax Records comprised of multiple Parcels contain what are referrred as Additional Lots. TAXPIN is the Primary Parcel Identifier beginning 2008, and is the identifier to join with Assessment data. TBLCNTRL is the former item for linking to the Assessment data The Tax Block number is a five position field. A four digit numeric with a possible trailing alpha. If the numeric portion is less than 1000, there will be leading zeros. The Tax Lot and Control Lot numbers are four position fields. A three digit numeric with a possible trailing alpha. If the numeric portion is less than 100, there will be leading zeros.
