The land area of a Tax Record can be comprised of multiple Tax Parcels. The identifier for Tax Records in the Assessment system is currentlyTax Block and Control Lot, and will become TAXPIN. Tax Records comprised of multiple Parcels contain what are referrred as Additional Lots. TBLCNTRL is the current identifier to join with Assessment data, and will change to TAXPIN This will result in a many to one relationship, unless a dissolve by TBLCNTRL is performed on the FCPARCEL shapes. BLKCNTRL is the same as TBLCNTRL, except it will not have a space in the Block alpha position. PIN is a geocoded identifier for each individual parcel. TAXPIN is the geocoded identifier for individual parcels which are grouped together for assessment purposes. The Tax Block number is a five position field. A four digit numeric with a possible trailing alpha. If the numeric portion is less than 1000, there will be leading zeros. The Tax Lot and Control Lot numbers are four position fields. A three digit numeric with a possible trailing alpha. If the numeric portion is less than 100, there will be leading zeros.
