City residents are invited to join Mayor Allen Joines and members of the City Council as they celebrate completion of the addition and renovations to Fire Station No. 7 with a "hose-uncoupling" ceremony and open house on Tuesday, Aug. 14. The ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. at 100 Arbor Road.

The fire station has been renovated and expanded. A new truck bay has been built to accommodate today’s larger fire trucks. The old truck bay has been converted into updated living spaces. 

The total project budget was $2.16 million, including $2 million that voters approved in the November 2014 bond referendum. For more information about this and other bond projects go to
