Portions of Miller Park will be closed to the public starting Monday, March 5, to begin a series of repairs and improvements financed with the 2014 bonds.

Various sections of damaged paths throughout the park will be closed in succession as demolition crews get to them. These areas will remain closed until they are rebuilt. Other improvements include rebuilding foot bridges and building restrooms near the bocce courts. 

Weather permitting, city officials hope to have the work completed and all areas of the park reopened in December.

Voters approved $2 million for improvements to Miller Park in the November 2014 bond referendum. A portion of this money has already been spent restoring eroded stream banks through the park. For more information about these and other bond projects go to
