Historic Preservation Month 2017

Historic Preservation Month LogoMay has been designated Historic Preservation Month both nationally and locally.  The Preservation Planning Partners, which includes the Forsyth County Historic Resources Commission, Old Salem Museums and Gardens, Preservation Forsyth, and Reynolda House of American Art have created a calendar of events throughout the county for residences and visitors to enjoy the buildings and land that remain to tell our history.

Preservation Month was designed to raise awareness about the power historic preservation has to protect and enhance our homes, neighborhoods and communities - the places that really matter to us. It provides an opportunity to celebrate the diverse and unique heritage of Forsyth County and enables all of us to become involved in the growing preservation movement.
