Planning and Development Services Department—February 26, 2019

A second community meeting for the US 158/Northern Beltway Interchange Plan has been set for Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Walkertown High School Auditorium.  The meeting will be held from 6:00 – 7:30 pm.  The US 158/Northern Beltway Interchange Plan is the first interchange plan in a series of beltway interchange plans to be prepared over the next several years.

This community meeting is an opportunity for citizens to help give their thoughts on development concepts south of the interchange related to building and parking locations; vehicular cross-access; and sidewalk, street, and driveway locations.

Citizen input from this meeting will be used in preparing a general design framework and conceptual renderings for review at the 3rd meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 9, 2019.  There will also be a public drop-in session for review and comments on a draft interchange plan on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.  The plan is scheduled to be presented to the City-County Planning Board for adoption in June 2019.
