Police Department News

The Winston-Salem Police Department, in conjunction with the Dash and the Winston-Salem Police Foundation, will host a free movie night at BB&T Ballpark on Saturday, October 21. The fun starts at 5:00 p.m. and the movie "Sing" will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Parking, carnival games and Kids Zone are free. Admission is free, however the Winston-Salem Police Foundation will be accepting donations of cash, blankets or canned goods. Prior to the movie, members of the police department and Police Chief Catrina Thompson will showcase various police cars, motorcycles and bicycles, along with rescue and hazardous device vehicles.

This community outreach event is a great opportunity for the Winston-Salem Police Department and the citizens to come together and interact while relaxing and enjoying a movie. Concessions will be available for purchase. Outside food and beverages will not be permitted.
