Police Department - Oct. 22, 2018
Public safety agencies in Winston Salem and Forsyth County are teaming up to hold a free Halloween "Trunk or Treat" night Saturday, Oct. 27, at BB&T Ballpark.
From 5:30 - 8 p.m., rain or shine, kids and their caregivers are invited to enjoy music and activities, and visit a variety of decorated public safety vehicles to get candy. Other public safety vehicles will be set up for displays and the ballpark's carousel and bounce house will be available. Kids are encouraged to come in their Halloween costumes.
Participating are the Winston-Salem Police and Fire departments, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, Forsyth County Emergency Medical Service and the N.C. Department of Public Safety. The Winston-Salem Dash is hosting the event.
The Winston-Salem Police Department will have free "trick or treat" bags available for children who need them.
