Each year at this time, we pay tribute to all the law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their communities and country. In 2018, 150 law enforcement officers nationally lost their lives in the line of duty. National Police Week also stands as a tribute to all those who are currently serving in their communities. The week of May 12 - May 18 has been set aside in observance of National Police Week.

Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. - The North Carolina Peace Officers Memorial Day Service will be held at Calvary Church, located at 1665 Pleasant Ridge Road, Greensboro, NC.

Monday, May 6, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. - A Vigil and Fallen Officer Memorial Rededication Ceremony will be held at the Vivian H. Burke Public Safety Center, located at 725 N. Cherry Street, Winston-Salem, NC.

Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. - The Forsyth County Law Enforcement Memorial Service will be held at Center Grove Baptist Church, located at 8750 Lasater Road, Clemmons, NC.

Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. - The Forsyth County Law Enforcement Memorial Night will be held at BB&T Ballpark, located at 951 Ballpark Way, Winston-Salem, NC.
