Hanes Park main entrance sketch

Hanes Park will be undergoing extensive renovations throughout all areas of the park for the remainder of 2018. This page will be updated with any work that impacts surrounding neighborhoods, including street, sidewalk or parking closures.

The playground will stay open during this project. Please stay out of construction areas for your own safety.

Project Updates

Week of December 3-10: There are no current street or sidewalk closings for this week.

The main parking lot is now open for all park users. The softball field is currently under construction for the next several weeks. The playground and tennis courts are open for park users. Please be careful of construction areas along the sidewalks on Sunset Drive for your own safety.  They are currently doing landscaping work at the main entrance so please be aware of heavy equipment and activity in this area temporarily.
