William Royston, Director, 336-397-7908
William oversees the Recreation programs, facilities, and staff. The director will also serve as staff advisor for the Recreation and Parks Commission.
Leah Friend, Assistant Director, 336-734-1215
Leah oversees supervising community recreation center activities and athletic activities of the Recreation Department and provides general assistance to the Recreation Director.
Renata Owens, Recreation Administrative Manager, 336-734-1222
Renata oversees the department's budget, Capital Plan, Fiscal Management, and special projects.
Emerald Bowman, Sr. Special Projects Manager,336-734-1221
Emerald's duties include assisting the director in managing the operations and partnership direction within the context of strategic goals, sponsorship and new market objectives.
Felicia Leland, Administrative Secretary, 336-734-1213
Felicia serves as the Administrative Secretary for the department. Her duties include handling downtown park reservations. Felicia is also the department's Human Resources liaison.
Maya Dubose, Recreation Technician, 336-734-1219
Maya’s duties include greeting citizens, answering departmental calls, and picnic shelter reservations. She also handles Winston Lake Golf Course Clubhouse Rentals and Liberty Street Market.
Cherie Oaks, Accounting Technician, 336-734-1218
Cherie handles the accounts payable and revenue accounting functions for the department. She will also assist with the processing of picnic shelter reservation service requests.
Ian Huffman, Parks Superintendent, 336-774-8894
Ian oversees the maintenance division of recreation and parks.
Todd Barr, Athletics Supervisor, 336-734-1216
Todd oversees the operation of the Joe White Tennis Center and coordinates softball, flag football, dodgeball, and special department projects. He also schedules the use of unlighted and lighted softball fields.
Bryce Sherman, Athletics Supervisor, 336-734-1204
Bryce oversees the operation of the city's youth and teen programming.
Samantha Smith, Bethabara Park Supervisor, 336-924-8191
Samantha oversees the operation of Historic Bethabara Park. Duties include planning the special activities that begin in April and run through November.
Ralph Mason, Park Ranger
Officer Mason patrols the parks, ensuring user safety. He also enforces shelter reservations.

The three (3) district supervisor positions oversee the operation of 17 recreation centers throughout the city, and also coordinate citywide recreation center events.
