Small Business Liaison: Will help with navigating the process of setting up a small business and resolving problems.

CITY DEPARTMENTS

Development: Industrial Recruiting, Small Business Help, M/WBE, Downtown Development, Brownfields.

Inspections: permitting and inspecting all new building, electrical, plumbing and heating construction. 
 
Engineering: design of water and sewer projects, streets and sidewalks, buildings.

Planning: Zoning & Subdivision, Area Plans, Historic Resources.

Purchasing: bid listings for materials and services needed by the city.

Revenue: business licenses, Privilege licenses

Stormwater: construction and maintenance of water and sewer lines for stormwater management, information especially for businesses about stormwater best practices.

Utilities: collection, treatment, and distribution of water, waste water, and solid waste.
