Capital Buildings Division
The Capital Buildings Division provides overall project management, direction, and control of capital projects involving construction/modification of city-owned/maintained buildings and related facilities; from project inception through completion of construction and acceptance. This includes primary responsibility for the development, monitoring, and approval of the project scope, schedule, and budget.
The Capital Buildings Division also provides day-to-day close coordination with various city departments, regulatory agencies, architects, engineers, surveyors, and contractors to ensure that all regulatory, financial, and schedule requirements for each of its projects are met and that the citizens of Winston-Salem receive the highest quality, most efficient facilities for its capital investment dollars.
