M/WBE Application For Certification    

Beginning in July of 2007, the City of Winston-Salem no longer certifies businesses as minority- or women-owned. The State of North Carolina has instituted a Statewide Uniform Certification program (SWUC). This program is a "one stop" certification and is valid throughout the state and takes the place of local programs.

If you are seeking certification for your business, please go to the State's Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) web site and follow the certification directions.  This certification will be recognized here in Winston-Salem for city/county construction projects.
