Minority and Women owned Business Bid Opportunities
Your business does not have to be a certified minority- or woman-owned business to bid on city contracts for goods and services. However, being certified will allow the city to contact your business and inform you of those opportunities that are available here at the city. Follow the links to the left for certification information.
Please contact Ruben Gonzales, (336)747-7474, for more information on how you can do business with the City.

In the City/County M/WBE program the general contractor bidding on a Formal Contract bid project is responsible for soliciting M/WBEs for participation. M/WBEs should submit questions and bids to the general contractors bidding on a project. Every project will have an advertised pre bid conference where MWBE sub contractors can attend to hear specifics of each project and to meet the general contractors interested in bidding on the project.
