Burke Mill Road Project

This project provides for the realignment of Burke Mill Road between Stratford Road and Griffith Road so that Burke Mill Road will intersect Stratford Road at Atwood Road. The project will also provide for an improved traffic signal and railroad crossing at Stratford and Atwood as well as the addition of left turn lanes and a new traffic signal at Burke Mill Road and Griffith Road. The realignment is needed to address accident problems and design deficiencies. The project is approximately 0.3 miles long and will include the installation of three (3) lanes.

This road is now open to traffic. Minor construction will continue to take place through September 2008.
