Employee Safety
Employee Safety is a part of Risk Management. Our goal is to ensure a healthy and safe work environment, and promote wellness for city employees through comprehensive proactive actions.
Employee Safety administers an employee-safety program that ensures the city complies with the standards of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
The medical-services program treats on-the-job illnesses and injuries or refers employees to other health agencies. It also assists with other health services, such as the Healthy You wellness program.
