Fire Station Eight is home to Engine Compay Eight which is located in District Three. Fire Station Eight was placed into service in 1957. Engine Company Eight serves the campus of Wake Forest University and areas surrounding the campus. Engine Company Eight is also the first due engine at the Reynolda Village, Reynolds House Museum of Fine Arts (formerly the home of tobacco magnate R.J. Reynolds) and Graylyn Conference Center Areas. Engine Company Eight is assigned with 4 personnel each day.
