Fire Station Twenty

" The Koger Fire Station"

For Emergencies, Dial "911"

Location: 5991 Koger Lane

Fire Station Twenty is home to Engine Company 20. Station Twenty is located in District Three. Station Twenty is a single-story, two-bay station that was opened in 2009; it was named the Koger Fire Station in tribute to the Koger family. The Koger Fire Station is situated in the heart of a historically significant community founded by African-Americans who acquired land here after the Civil War. Fire Station Twenty is assigned 4 personnel each shift.

Station Twenty was placed into service in 2006 to support the needs of a growing part of north Winston-Salem. Station Twenty's response areas include the areas of Bethania, U.S. 52, and responds to assist companies in Old Town and Hanes Mill Road areas.
