Forum to Discuss Immigration Reform
and Immigrant Rights

The Human Relations Commission will hold a forum Thursday, June 15, to discuss immigration reform and immigrant rights as part of its “Beyond Soul and Salsa” series on issues affecting African-American and Hispanic residents.

The forum will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1075 Shalimar Drive, Winston-Salem. Panelist will include legal immigrants from African and Latin American countries.

The forum is co-sponsored by the Winston-Salem NAACP, Accion Hispana, Winston-Salem Urban League and Que Pasa Media Network.
