March for Homeless Children

Create awareness of the homeless problem amongst children and families in Winston-Salem by marching with the Human Relations Commission.

Walkers meet early at 4:30 p.m. in the Center City West Parking Garage across from the Chamber of Commerce Building on 4th Street. March begins at 5 p.m. at the corner of Poplar and 4th Streets and ends at Corpening Plaza.

Held in conjunction with the Winston-Salem Jaycees Holiday Parade, the March for Homeless Children is supported by Project HOPE as an awareness campaign about local homeless families and children. Donations of schools supplies and clothing will be collected at the march.
