Directions to Human Resources

The Human Resources department for the City of Winston-Salem is located in Suite 131 of the Bryce A. Stuart Municipal Building in downtown Winston-Salem at 100 East First Street (in the block bounded by N. Main Street, E. First Street, and Church Street). 

Our office hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

From Business 40 westbound, exit at Main Street and go north (it is a one-way street), staying in the right lane. Turn right onto First Street for on-street metered parking in front of the BAS Municipal Building. The Bryce A. Stuart Municipal Building will be directly at your right, and City Hall is just across First Street on the left. Look for on-street parking or continue north on N. Main Street past City Hall and turn right into the municipal parking lot immediately past City Hall (on the right side) for parking in the surface lot.

From Business 40 eastbound, exit at Downtown/Old Salem and stay in the left lane, which will curve around to the left and merge you onto Main Street. Get into the right lane and follow the above directions.
