Bulb Blitz Postponed

The 7th Annual Bulb Blitz, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 18, has been postponed until Dec. 2 because the shipment of bulbs has been delayed.

The Bulb Blitz is organized annually by Keep Winston-Salem Beautiful to plant flower bulbs donated by Langeveld Bulb Co. of Lakewood, N.J. Residents interested in participating in this year’s Bulb Blitz are welcome to join those already signed up to plant bulbs from 9 a.m. to noon in city parks, along greenways and in planting beds along city streets. The volunteers will be guided by master gardeners and city staff with the Vegetation Management Division.
