Downtown Streets Closing for Traffic Bollard Installation

The city will be closing streets in the downtown Arts District at various times next week to install traffic bollards (removable posts) in the streets:

• Trade Street, between Sixth and Seventh streets, will be closed to all traffic from 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, until 6 a.m. Tuesday, and again from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening.

• Sixth Street, between Cherry and Trade streets, will be closed to all traffic from 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, until 6 a.m. Wednesday, and again from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

• Sixth Street, between Trade and Liberty streets, will be closed to all traffic from 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, until 6 a.m. Thursday, and again from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.

• Liberty Street will be closed to through traffic at Sixth Street from 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, until 6 a.m. Friday, and again from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
