West End Utility Project Update

Construction is complete on Jersey Avenue between Brookstown Avenue and Pilot View Street and that block is now open. On Monday, Oct. 8, construction on Jersey Avenue will begin between Pilot View and Summit streets. Detours will be posted. Construction should last approximately three weeks.

Construction continues on Fourth Street between Glade and Forsyth streets. The intersection of Fourth and Forsyth streets will also be closed in all directions. Detours are posted.

The Utilities Division is replacing aging water and sewer lines in most of the West End neighborhood. Work is expected to last through July 2008.
