West End Utility Project Update

Construction on Carolina Avenue, between Pilot View and Summit streets, will begin on Monday, Nov. 5. On Tuesday, construction will begin on Forsyth Street between Fourth Street and West End Boulevard.

Construction on Fourth Street, between Forsyth and First streets, will be completed on Monday and the street will be re-opened on Tuesday.

The Utilities Division is replacing aging water and sewer lines in most of the West End neighborhood. Work is expected to last through July 2008.
