West End Utility Project Update

Construction crews will have one lane closed on Summit Street, between Sixth Street and Carolina Avenue, starting Monday, Dec. 17. Flagmen will be available to direct traffic. Construction is scheduled to last one week.

Construction continues on West End Boulevard between Forsyth and Glade streets. Detours are posted.

West End Boulevard between First and Forsyth streets is now opened.
The Utilities Division is replacing aging water and sewer lines in most of the West End neighborhood. Work is expected to last through July 2008.
