West End Utility Project Update

Construction continues on Fourth Street between Burke and Glade streets. Detours are posted.

The Utilities Division is replacing aging water and sewer lines in most of the West End neighborhood. Work is expected to last through July 2008.

Drivers in the West End should also be aware that some other streets in the neighborhood may be temporarily closed while Streets Division crews replace damaged stormwater drainage pipes that are being discovered as the utility lines are replaced.
