Graduating class of the Fall 2008 Citizens' Police Academy

The Winston-Salem Police Department held a graduation ceremony Nov. 11 for the fall 2008 class of the Citizens’ Police Academy. In attendance were 18 graduating academy participants, Police Chief Scott Cunningham and other members of the department.

The Citizens’ Police Academy is a 12-week program of comprehensive instruction designed to better acquaint citizens with the law enforcement profession and the role of the Police Department within the community.
