Community Forum Scheduled on Next Police Chief

Waters-Oldani Executive Recruitment, a consulting firm the city has retained to assist in the search for a new police chief, will hold a community forum Thursday, Feb. 7, to solicit comments from city residents. Citizens will have up to five minutes to speak. The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Winston-Salem Room at LJVM Coliseum, 2825 University Parkway.

The city is conducting a national search for a successor to Police Chief Pat Norris, who retired last year but agreed to serve as interim chief through the end of June. For more information call 747-7473.
