Old Lexington Road Closing

Old Lexington Road will be closed to through traffic between Sprague Street and Clemmonsville Road starting Monday, Aug. 25, to widen the road between Sprague Street and Interstate 40 and replace a large culvert between Goldfloss and Glencoe streets that carries a stream under the road.

Through traffic will be routed on a detour using Sprague Street, Thomasville Road and Clemmonsville Road. Local traffic will be allowed between Clemmonsville Road and Glencoe Street, and between Sprague and Goldfloss streets. The closure could last through June 2009.
