Public Meeting Scheduled Oct. 15 on Transportation Planning and Procedures

The Federal Highway Administration, the Federal Transit Authority and the Environmental Protection Agency will hold a public meeting Wednesday, Oct. 15, to solicit citizens’ comments on transportation planning for Winston-Salem and the surrounding area.

The meeting is part of a period review to certify that transportation planning and procedures are continuing, cooperative and comprehensive for Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, and the surrounding area, including King, Bermuda Run and portions of Davie, Davidson and Stokes counties.

Citizens who live in these areas are encouraged to attend the meeting and voice their opinions. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in City Hall, Room 239, 101 N. Main Street in Winston-Salem. Persons with disabilities who need special assistance to attend the meeting should contact Greg Errett at the address listed below at least 48 hours in advance.
