Realigned Burke Mill Road to Reopen Monday

A ribbon-breaking will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 28, to reopen Burke Mill Road, which has been closed between Griffith and South Stratford Road to realign the intersection of Burke Mill and South Stratford roads.

The intersection now coincides with Atwood Road. Construction began in May and was completed more than three months ahead of schedule.

A brief ceremony will be held to mark the re-opening. Council Members Dan Besse and Molly Leight and Greg Turner, the assistant city manager for public works, will speak.
