Sanitation Collection Changes for Christmas & New Year’s Holidays

City offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, Dec. 25 - 26 and Thursday, Jan. 1, in observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day. Sanitation collections for both weeks will be affected.

During the week of Christmas, garbage collections on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be moved up a day:

Tuesday on Monday,
Wednesday on Tuesday and
Thursday on Wednesday.

Friday garbage will be collected on Monday, Dec. 29.

Curbside recycling will be collected as usual on Monday through Wednesday. Thursday and Friday collections will be postponed a day, Thursday on Friday and Friday on Saturday.

Yard-waste cart collections will be altered. Monday and Tuesday collections will be made on Monday, Wednesday on Tuesday, and Thursday on Wednesday.

During the week of New Year’s Day, garbage will be collected as usual Monday through Wednesday. Thursday garbage will be collected on Friday, and Friday garbage will be collected on Monday, Jan. 5.

Yard carts will be collected as usual Monday through Wednesday; Thursday collections will be made on Friday, Jan. 2.
