Streets Closing Next Week for Drainage Repairs

Urban Street between East Brookline and Glencoe streets will be closed to through traffic from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, to continue repairs to a storm drain.

The 800 block of East Brookline Street, between Burgandy and Urban streets, will be closed to through traffic starting 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, to continue repairs to a storm drain pipe under the roadbed. Work is expected to last three weeks.

Detours will be posted. The construction schedule for both projects could be affected by inclement weather. For more information call City Link at 727-8000.
