West End Utility Project Update

Burke Street between Brookstown Avenue and Fourth Street will be closed Monday, June 9, through Thursday, June 12, for sewer repairs.

Brookstown Avenue between West End Boulevard and Carolina Avenue will be closed Monday, June 9, to repair a sewer lateral.

Work continues on West End Boulevard between Seventh and Broad streets and should be completed on Thursday, June 12.

Detours will be posted for all closures.

Manhole and sidewalk repair will be ongoing at various locations. Please watch for flagmen and signs.

The Utilities Division is replacing aging water and sewer lines in most of the West End neighborhood. Work is expected to last through July 2008.
