West Salem Utility Project Update

Construction on Bank Street between Granville Drive and Gregory Street is completed and the street reopened to traffic.

On Monday, Oct. 20, construction will begin on Granville Drive between Bank and Franklin streets. Construction is expected to take three weeks.

Construction on Gregory Street between Apple and Wachovia streets is scheduled to continue for two more weeks.

Detours will be posted for all closed streets.

The Utilities Division is replacing aging water and sewer lines in part of the West Salem neighborhood. Work is expected to last through March 2009. For more information, call City Link at 727-8000.
