West Salem Utility Project Update

The block of Gregory Street between Apple and Wachovia streets will be reopened to traffic on Tuesday, Nov. 4. Construction on the block between Wachovia and Bank streets has been postponed.

Construction is completed on the block of Granville Drive between Bank and Franklin streets. On Monday, Nov. 3, construction will begin on the block of Granville Drive between Franklin and Wachovia streets. Work is expected to take three weeks.
Detours will be posted for all closed streets.

The Utilities Division is replacing aging water and sewer lines in part of the West Salem neighborhood. Work is expected to last through March 2009. For more information, call City Link at 727-8000.
