West Salem Utility Project Update

Construction will begin on Monday, Sept. 8, on Bank Street between Granville and Gregory streets. Work is expected to take three weeks. A detour will be posted.

Construction on Spaugh Street between Franklin and Wachovia streets is complete and the street is reopen to traffic.

Construction continues on Albert Street between Green and Cotton streets. Work is expected to take one more week. A detour is posted.

The Utilities Division is replacing aging water and sewer lines in part of the West Salem neighborhood. Work is expected to last through July 2009.
