Visioning Process

The Visioning Process is an opportunity for staff to receive initial input from all residents on how they perceive their neighborhood issues, problems, and opportunities. At the meeting, staff asks citizens to discuss what they like about their neighborhood, what they think needs improvement and most importantly, what they want their community to look like in the future. The future vision developed at the meeting serves as the basis for recommendations included in the Area Plan. The Visioning meeting for the Southwest Area Plan was held on on January 15, 2009.
