The P.I.G.S. Team coordinates the many graphic services and Geographic Information Systems solutions needed by the City/County Planning Board of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. These include a variety of in-depth mapping services and assembling information for use in data reports.

Full-color specialty brochures for various teams and committees are designed in-house, and are used to raise awareness of Planning programs and services of public interest throughout the region. 

The logo of the P.I.G.S. Team is a variation of a Compass Rose, the North arrow indicator commonly seen on departmental maps. It is a symbolic blend of the mapping, graphic design and layout skills of the unit. This is evident by the use of the North, South, East and West letters and arrows, the Primary colors of yellow, red, blue and green, and the "bull's eye" indicator for multicolor printing registration. The use of "the pig" is self explanatory.
