Call the Community Appearance Commission staff at 747-7051 to schedule this 20-minute presentation and question-and-answer session for your next group meeting.
Speakers for Community Forums

The Community Appearance Commission has sponsored an impressive group of speakers with expertise in wide-ranging topics dealing with community appearance. These educational sessions coincide with the Community Appearance Awards program held every two years in October. Most recently in 2009, Mitchell Silver, Director of Planning for the City of Raleigh, spoke on the "Value of Good Design and Appearance." Mr. Silver is nationally recognized for his leadership in the planning profession and his contributions to contemporary planning issues.
