Historic Preservation Month 2008

Heritage Awards

The Heritage Awards, given by the Forsyth County Historic Resources Commission, recognize and honor outstanding dedication and commitment to excellence in historic preservation in Forsyth County. The awards will recognize individuals, groups, organizations, or businesses active in the preservation, restoration, rehabilitation or interpretation of the county’s architectural, cultural, or natural heritage. The award recipients have made a large impact, not only on their local neighborhood, but the greater community as well. Their contributions, whether restoring a piece of architectural history or personal/group achievements, assist in promoting and leading the community in the field of preservation.
