Description of movie:
Scene: like an old-time newsreel. "Twin City News. Winston-Salem honors its Historic Legacy."
Winston-Salem has a rich historical heritage. Over the decades, the Twin city has been home to many landmark buildings that define the era, such as the luxurious Zinzendorf hotel, named for Moravian patron Nicholas Zinzendorf, that once graced Third Street; the original Cherry Steet YMCA; the Masonic temple at Trade and Fourth; and the West End graded school. Regrettably, these fabulous buildings are gone and mostly forgotten. Some were victims of fire, others fell to the wrecking ball. Although we mourn their loss, there is much more of our historic legacy that we can save. Here's the good news -- now we have a better way.
