| NOTICE: The National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago will be in Winston-Salem from January-May 2012 conducting household studies on the circumstances of families. Interviewers will visit pre-selected households and explain the study to the residents. Participation by the residents is voluntary and the interviewers will be wearing photo ID badges and carrying credentials stating that they are NORC representatives. The interviewers are trained professionals who have signed legally binding pledges of confidentiality. NORC is one of the oldest and most prestigious social survey research organizations in the nation. |
