Polygraph Section

The polygraph is an instrument that records certain physiological changes in a person undergoing questioning in an effort to determine truth or deception. The polygraph is used to verify, corroborate or refute statements; obtain additional investigative leads; narrow or focus criminal investigations, screen candidates for positions with this department and assist in administrative investigations.
