Neighborhood Watch
What is Neighborhood Watch?
Neighborhood Watch is a citizens' organization devoted to preventing crime and vandalism within a neighborhood. It is through coordination and cooperation with the Winston-Salem Police Department that members learn non-intervention ways to deter crime. Neighborhood Watch members are to stay alert to unusual activity and contact the authorities.

Neighborhood Watch Newsletter
Currently, we have made it a practice to mail our Neighborhood Watch Newsletter; however, in the near future we will transition to an electronic format. There will be two different ways that you and your members can access and receive the newsletter. You will be able to sign up to receive it as an e-mail through the city’s web site, or you can read it on the Police Department’s web site. The reason for this change is to provide an easier format for you and for us to better use available funds for events and programs.
Upon completing the registration process you will receive an e-mail with a web link to confirm your e-mail address. You must confirm your e-mail address before you will be able to receive the Neighborhood Watch Newsletter. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail please check your SPAM filter settings. (You can also add mail from "cityofws.org" to your trusted list before registering.)
