Incident Description
Sergeant Teague succumbed to gunshot wounds received two weeks earlier when he and several other officers raided a home on Oak Street while searching for a suspect wanted for murdering a security guard.

The suspect was apprehended; convicted of two counts of first degree murder; and sentenced to death.  He was executed in the electric chair on April 27, 1928.
