Incident Description
Patrolman Wimbish was killed in an automobile accident on Old Lexington Road while involved in a pursuit.  His partner, Patrolman Bob Peddycord, was severely injured.  Peddycord survived and spent the rest of his career in the Records Division.  The driver of the speeding car was never apprehended.
