The First Tee of the Triad is a year round program!

The First Tee is a nonprofit organization that has spent the last decade making a difference in the lives of children. A growing international organization, The First Tee has local chapters. The First Tee of the Triad will be servicing the community in Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and High Point.

Each child will learn golf skills in the six to eight weeks of mentoring, repeated in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. However, The First Tee is about character development as well. There will be a special focus on the First Tee’s Nine Core Values: Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Respect, Confidence, Courtesy, Responsibility, Perseverance, and Judgment. The children learn more than just golf. They learn skills that will serve them for the rest of their lives.

The First Tee has created levels of achievement: Par, Birdie, and Eagle. As the children advance through the levels, they are rewarded with more access to golf courses, range balls, and other incentives. The First Tee also offers scholarships towards college.
